This is who we are

Every year, thousands of students take Dutch courses. For this to be properly organized, the House of Dutch was founded. There are 8 Houses of Dutch all over Flanders.

The House of Dutch is set up to be the central and neutral contact for all adult non-native speakers who want to learn Dutch.

It is our goal to inform all candidate-students on all course options, which will sometimes involve a test. We then refer them on to the course of Dutch as a foreign language which best fit the student’s needs and abilities. To read more, click here. The House of Dutch does not organise its own Dutch courses. You may have to pay for Dutch courses or they may be free, but our service is free at all times.
